SIKKIM :-
Located in northeast India, Sikkim is a breathtaking Himalayan state bordered by Bhutan, Tibet, and Nepal. Boasting India's highest peak, 8,586m Kangchenjunga, Sikkim's dramatic landscape features glaciers, alpine meadows, and thousands of wildflower varieties. This least populated and second smallest Indian state is home to over 550 bird species, many deemed endangered. With 81% of its area under forest department administration, Sikkim showcases unparalleled biodiversity, harboring tropical, temperate, alpine, and tundra flora, alongside a rich fauna. Explore ancient Buddhist monasteries like Pemayangtse, dating back to the 1700s, and discover Sikkim's untouched natural beauty
Schedule:
Day 1 : Pick up from Bagdogra Airport and drive to Gangtok. Dinner at Gangtok. Stay at Gangtok. ( 5 Hours Drive from Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok ).
Day 2 : Local Gangtok Sightseeing (Ranka Monastery, Rope Way Ride, Visit Orchadium, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point. Stay at Gangtok-Assam Lingzey-25 kms from GANGTOK.
Day 3: Early Morning start for Yuksum. On the way visit to Temi Tea and Buddha Park. Late evening reach Yuksum. Stay at Yuksum.
Day 4: Visit Khecheperi Lake, Kanchanjunga Waterfalls, Katol Lake, Coronation Throne. Stay at Yuksum
Day 5: Post breakfast start for Okhrey. On the way visit orange garden. Reach Okhrey.
Day 6 : Explore Barsey Rhododendron Wildlife Sanctuary.
Day 7: Post Breakfast start for Bagdogra & stay at Bagdogra
Day 8 : Board the flight for Pune / Mumbai
